Cajun Crab Company

Took my family to Cajun Seafood this Sunday and I have to give it to the service. Power to you guys With only two people managing the floor it was impressive. I say it all the time but they showed me how Teamwork make the dream work. Jeremiah was such a vibe serving our tables and relating with his customers and you can tell he loves what he do. I will definitely take the fam here again. my husband and 1 year old was a big fan of their gumbo. and for me the season was on point with everything. best snow crabs in town my opinion. The potatoes salad once you try it you’ll want a bigger bowl lol. If you want to know more you just have to experience it for yourself. Can’t forget to show of my plate

Everything was sooo good. The crab was great, the boils sauce was great, pot stickers were awesome, garlic rice was good too. Hush puppies a little sweet but still good. Only issue? I didn’t get what I ordered. I ordered the Dungeness and snow crab combo. Which is just the two crabs and corn and potato and got snow crab and crawfish combo. Which would have been fine, but I really don’t like crawfish at all. I will def try them again as I enjoyed everything. Hopefully they get it right next time.

Got the Combo Boil #6 with Dungeness crab, snow crab, half a pound of headless shrimp, plus corn and potatoes. Everything was seasoned well, the seafood was fresh, and the flavor had a nice Cajun kick.

We took a chance on this “hole in the wall”, and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived for an “early dinner” as to beat any traffic or crowds. We were greeted by two very kind ladies, and then introduced to Jeremiah that would be helping with our dinner. I didn’t realize this meant he would be doing literally everything to make sure we enjoyed our meal. He took our drink order, made our drinks, took our food order and prepared our food. Jeremiah was outstanding all around. He was courteous, timely and very charismatic. We enjoyed our first visit to this establishment, and have now added it to our must visit again list. The building has character, but could use a few updates. We orders two fried baskets and 3 steamed seafood bags. Every meal was above our expectations, and just like Jeremiah stated it would—everything tasted like “real Cajun food”.

The Cajun Crab, a good addition to Shalimar. This restaurant replaced Green Wasabi. I really like Green Wasabi and it will be missed. Best wishes to the owner and operators! So, The Cajun Crab offers steamed seafood, such as shrimp, mussels, oysters, lobster, and.... oh yes, crab. The food was great! No complaints here. Well, I have a critique, if you will. It's nothing bad, really. So they offer different levels of spice. You know like mild, medium, hot and so on. Well my one critique is this. I asked for a side of their hot seasoning and it was that bowl of cayenne pepper. No flavorful seasoning of varying levels of heat. Just a bowl of punishing cayenne pepper. I was expecting something a little more creative but this isn't a big deal. They aren't in the seasoning business! It's all about that food! Am I right! The food was great. Without a doubt. Nice, hot, freshly steamed seafood! I wanna say I had tuna dip as an appetizer. I forget which steamer my wonderful, soon too be my bride, and I had ordered but it was very good. However, the service, the service was slow. Slow like molasses going uphill in January. Slow like those kids you only saw when you went to the restroom 15 minutes after the tardy bell rang in high-school. Slow like that one kid who pulled his pants down to his ankles when using the urinal. The food was undeniably great and was even better because the pricing was very affordable! I'm positive their service will only improve over time. I say come on and give The Cajun Crab a shot. The only thing that you will lose is hunger!

Mitchell is awesome she is super sweet and friendly. The all u can eat crab legs were amazing omg. I would highly recommed this place for any occasion. There was no waiting for a table and the food was hot and fresh. Such a great atmosphere good music playing and the place was very clean. The prices were reasonable for what we ate. Super service and even better food.

Went in with a party of 5 and was seated by a very nice waiter who wore many hats (answering phones, putting in door dash orders, being a host, waiter and cashier) He did not forget about us and found time to still pay attention to my table and others. The place isn’t big and fancy which I personally enjoyed. The waiter whose name escapes me (I think Jeremiah maybe) seemed happy to be working there and genuinely friendly. He was patient with our table of confused and picky eaters. Our order was a 4.5/5 everything was fresh clean and tasty except the sweet potato waffle fries (our batch tasted like nothing) but otherwise the seafood was the main point and it didn’t disappoint. And I love that the shrimp are de-veined. I went in fully prepared to buy The Kraken but I didn’t which worked out because the smaller portion I picked instead was more than enough. Very charming little spot with good food and inviting staff (I was so busy eating the food I forgot to take a proper picture)

First time visiting Cajon Crab Company. We like to try new places when we go out of town. The restaurant was conveniently located from our hotel. Waitress was nice and cordial. She gave suggestions and assisted us with deciding. I love grouper, so that's what I ordered. After ordering, it took 21:02 minutes for food to arrive. I did not enjoy the grouper. Seemed like the grouper had been under heat lamp for a while. My wife ordered the #2 Combo Boil Special add egg w/ Boom mild original. She absolutely loved it. The portion size was great, and It was seasoned to perfection. The steamed broccoli was impeccably good. Seasoned well with a butter sauce. Overall atmosphere was great. All patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. Busy little restaurant. Decent experience....
